- Mendwell Medicated Dressings:
Mendwell Medicated Dressings comprise a medicated pad placed at the center of a self-adhesive backing substrate, available in either cloth or plastic (PVC or PE Film), and various shapes such as rectangular, square, and round.
Application:
These dressings are used to provide initial protection for superficial injuries, minor cuts, bruises, and exudate absorption.
Features:
- Medication: The pad is impregnated with Benzalkonium chloride solution IP, equivalent to Benzalkonium chloride 0.5% w/w, sometimes with permitted food-grade, non-staining dye added. The pad is laminated with perforated film to prevent adherence.
- Good Permeability: Perforations facilitate better breathing.
- Good Adhesion: Quick stick properties ensure instant adhesion and provide firm adhesion to the skin.
- Skin Tolerance: The adhesive recipe is formulated to ensure minimum skin irritation, featuring a Zinc Oxide based adhesive mass.
- Stability: The content of active ingredients, such as Benzalkonium chloride, is retained well above the desired level throughout the shelf life. The performance of the adhesive backing is also maintained.
