Product Description: Mendwell Medicated Dressings
Product Overview:
Mendwell Medicated Dressings are designed to provide first protection to superficial injuries, minor cuts, bruises, and aid in exudates absorption. These dressings feature a medicated pad placed at the center of a self-adhesive backing substrate, which can be made from either cloth or plastic (PVC or PE Film). The dressings come in various shapes including rectangular, square, and round to cater to different needs.

Features:
Medication:
- The pad is impregnated with Benzalkonium chloride solution IP equivalent to Benzalkonium chloride 0.5% w/w.
- Sometimes, a permitted food grade, non-staining dye is added.
- The pad is laminated with perforated film to make it non-adherent to the wound.
Good Permeability:
- Perforations are provided to facilitate better breathing, ensuring the wound receives adequate air flow.
Good Adhesion:
- Quick stick properties ensure instant adhesion.
- Provides firm adhesion to the skin, ensuring the dressing stays in place.
Skin Tolerance:
- The adhesive recipe is suitably formulated to ensure minimum skin irritation.
- Contains Zinc Oxide-based adhesive mass, which is gentle on the skin.
Stability:
- The content of active ingredients, i.e., Benzalkonium chloride, is retained well above the desired level throughout the shelf life.
- The performance of the adhesive backing is also maintained well above the desired level throughout the shelf life.
